Business Sponsorship is a means to financially support the ministry of WUIC-LP through your business, non-profit organization or church on a short, or long-term basis.
What do I receive as a result of my sponsorship/support of WUIC-LP?
All WUIC-LP Business/Church Sponsors receive announcements on the radio as a result of their support. The number of announcements is dependent on the level of contribution and the length of the agreement. The benefits of business sponsorships are available for non-profit organizations and commercial businesses alike. Businesses or churches who agree to support WUIC-LP for 6-months or longer receive space on our website where we list contact information, logos, phone numbers and provide a link to the supporter's website, if available.
This sounds a lot like advertising…is it?
No…and yes. In the strictest sense, business sponsorship announcements are not advertising but, they achieve similar, if not better, results for those who wish to use them to market a product or service. WUIC-LP announcements are designed to provide listeners valuable information about your business or organization. We give listeners information that they use and act upon.
What's the main difference between supporting WUIC-LP as a non-profit vs. a for-profit organization?
The wording of the announcements you receive as a result of your sponsorship/support.
The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) regulates what non-commercial radio stations such as ourselves can say about commercial businesses in their announcements.

General Partnership Support
1. Acknowledgments will consist of the NAME OF THE BUSINESS and its LOCATION. These exceptions are permitted:
a. If the product or service of the business is not inherent in its name, WUIC-LP FM can mention that product or service in generic terms, without using qualitative adjectives.
b. If the business does not have a retail location, a phone number may be given.
c. CHURCH ACKNOWLEDGMENTS may also include information about service times.
The following are levels of support and pricing for Sponsorships/Support:
BRONZE $50/month 2 acknowledgments per Day 60 per month
SILVER $100/month 5 acknowledgments per Day 150 per month
GOLD $250/month 12 acknowledgments per Day 360 per month
PLATINUM $378/month 18 acknowledgments per Day 540 per month
DIAMOND $500/month 24 acknowledgments per Day 720 per month
